ENGLISH AND TECHNOLOGY

ENGLISH AND ELECTRICITY - I
Explaining circuits

1. V is electromotive force which we measure in volts.
2. R is resistance which we measure in ohms, and the symbol for ohms is the omega symbol.
3. I is intensity and that is our current flow that we measure in amps.
4. For now, we're (only) going to focus on using (three) simple formulas.
5. We can determine how many amps we have by dividing our volts by our resistance.
6. We can determine how many ohms we should have by dividing our voltage by our current.
7. We can determine how many volts we should have by multiplying current times resistance
8. By knowing two values we can calculate the unknown value, in this case our unknown value is...
9. As we want to find out how many amps are going to flow through our circuit, we take our voltage and divide it by our resistance

Do you remember the ohm´s law?

After watching the above video , answer the following questions:

1. - Which are the two types of current? What are the differences between them?

2. - Which units do we use to measure: Voltage (V o E), Current (I) and Resistance?

3. - How can we determine the value of R, V (E) o R? Try to explain with your own words how you´d calculate each value.

4. - How (with which unit) do we measure power?

5. - What does the term watts refers to?

2 Wich are the main differences between the two types of bitmap format you have mentioned in the question above.

The main differences are that the bmp spend more memory and has higher resolution than the jpg the jpg spend less memory and has less resolution.

4.-Explain what is meant by the term vector format.

A vector format is using mathematical equations of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and shapes, or poligon's to represent images in computer graphics.
